An oppotunity to have it is a good luck for me
By chance, I got it after winning a bid on eBay from a Japanese collector. It was too anxious waiting for the bid result. Feeling relief when I hold it in. It's just a lot of stress taken off! So wonderful it is!
Same as Pentax LX, this Contax RTS II GOLD was produced with very limited 300 sets in 1981. The body is 24K gold plated with brown lizard skin covering. This one is the 277th out of 300. In Japan, such a set would demand for a selling price approx. 1,200,000 JPY back in that time.
With Zeiss Planar T*50mm/1.4 in Gold limited kit set. Indeed it looks gorgeous!
Few people know that Contax RTS II GOLD was designed by "Alexander Porsche" designers who made the top German Porsche 991.
